Sign up for Forgejo

Forgejo is the self-hosted Git forge that hosts the code of my projects on git.emanuelegori.uno. With an account you can open issues, report bugs, and comment. All other features are disabled.

Registration is by manual approval: fill in the form, confirm your email address by clicking the link you’ll receive, then wait for my approval. Once the account is active you’ll receive the credentials by email.

  3. Wait for approval: I’ll notify you by email when the account is active, with username and a temporary password.
  4. First login: when you sign in at git.emanuelegori.uno you’ll be asked to change your password.

Frequently asked questions

How long does approval take?

Usually within 24–48 hours. Requests are reviewed manually to prevent spam, so they’re not instantaneous. If you haven’t heard back after a few days, get in touch via the contact page.

I didn’t receive the confirmation email

Check your spam folder. If it’s not there, you may have made a typo in your address: submit the form again. A per-IP rate limit is in place to prevent abuse.

Can I create my own repositories?

No. Accounts created via this form are meant for contributing to existing repos (issues and comments), not for hosting personal projects. If you need repo space, use the Forgejo.it instance.

Privacy

I only store the email address you enter in the form and the submission IP (needed for the rate limit and to evaluate the request). Once the account is created, the data in the plugin database is kept to prevent duplicate requests. You can request deletion by contacting me.
